Delete your LP Trader account

You can delete your LP Trader account at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your information.

How to delete your account

In the app or on the website: go to Settings → Account → Delete account, type DELETE and confirm. You can download a copy of your data there first.
By email: send a deletion request to privacy@lptrader.app from the email address linked to your account, so we can confirm it's you.

Deleted within 30 days

Your profile: name, @handle, photo, bio, city and province
Your email address, mobile number and sign-in details
Your shop, listings and listing photos
Your wishlist, followed shops, collection and Wanted List
Messages and marketing preferences

Kept for 5 years (anonymised)

The Tax Administration Act 28 of 2011 requires us to keep records of completed orders, invoices and payouts for 5 years after each transaction. These are anonymised once your account is deleted, so they are no longer linked to you.
